The House of Representatives yesterday (Monday) failed to hold session for lack of quorum.

The session was supposed to start at 4 p.m. but only few lawmakers were present on the floor. At least 132 members should be present to constitute a quorum.

When the roll call was finally called at 5:10 p.m., only 131 congressmen showed up, or two short of the required 133 members to constitute a quorum.

Reports have said that some 50 congressmen watched the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight in the United States; 25 were attending the Palarong Pambansa in Leyte; and 10 others were with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for her Egypt trip.

Napakaraming kabulukan sa Pilipinas!

Naaalala ko ang kaopisina ko minsan na nagsabi, ang mabuting gawin sa mga Pilipino ay lusawin at mag-umpisa uli sa umpisa. I found her idea horrible. Pero, ngayon, katulad ni HINANAKIT NG -> isang ordinaryong office worker na ayaw nang magbayad ng tax…ever!, nawawalan na rin ako ng pag asa.

Baguhin ang Pilipino sa isang wanday ng mahiwagang baguette o wand (Paumanhin, nalimutan ko na sa tagalog. Sa tutuo lang, napapahinto ako ng 20 segundos sa paghahanap ng tamang salita sa tagalog) ay napaka-imposible!!!

Kaya, pinag-tuunan ko ang sarili kong pamilya. Naniniwala ako na mag-umpisa sa maliit, siguro mas epektibo. Pero sasabihin ko sa inyo, Ugh at ugh, hindi madali.

Mga pamangkin kong nagdadalaga, demokratiko ko silang iminumulat sa pagdadalantao na walang paghahanda, physically, morally at financially. Pati ang benepisyo ng paggamit ng mga kontraseptibo. Pag talikod mo, nagsipag-anakan!!!

Hindi lang pala ang kabataan ang dapat na i-educate, pati na rin pala mga magulang - sa kasamaang palad, nabibilang ang mga magulang ng mga kapatid ko sa mga ignorante na nagpapairal ng katigasan ng ulo para mapagtakpan ang mga katangahang ito imbes na magsikap na matutunan ang tunay na kahulugan ng buhay. (Hayan, medyo napabilis tuloy ang pananagalog ko. Nasasanay na uli.)

Isa pa, may tindahan ang nanay ko; sabi ko sa kanya>> wag ka ng magtinda ng sigarilyo at alak para hindi ka na mag-participate sa pagwasak ng mga kabataan na bumibili nito. Ang sagot>>dyan lang ako malaki ang kita eh.

Tinanong ko kung magkano ang kinikita nya at babayaran ko na lang.Tatanggapin ang pera pero magtitinda uli at ang dahilan>>bibili din sila sa iba eh.

Sa parteng ito, naintindihan ko na hindi ko makakaya na mag-isa.

Kailangan natin ang gobyerno! Ng gobyernong una sa lahat ay makatao.

Noon, hindi ko alam ang tunay na kahulugan ng salitang ito. Lagi kong naririnig sa mga debate ng mga politician, makatao at makadiyos at bla bla bla …!

Ngayon, mas may kahulugan ang salitang makatao para sa akin . . . isang halimbawa na naranasan ko na kakulangan ng pagkatao sa Pilipinas >>> walang pakialam ang mga may sasakyan sa mga tumatawid o naglalakad na tao.

Nasa gitna ka na nga ng tamang tawiran, ni hindi man lang maghinay at paraanin ka hanggang sa makarating sa kabilang kalye. Parang ni minsan ay hindi sya naging pedestrian!!!

Napakarami pang mga kabulukan sa Pilipinas!!! Sa dami ay hindi ko na makita ang kagandahan, kung meron man. Ang Pilipinas ay maganda, sigurado! Pero ang pinoy….?

Maraming pinoy sa ibang bansa na sigurado ako na laang maging kabalikat at patuloy na umaasa sa pagbabago ng Pilipinas, isa na ako.

Kailangan lang ang isang wanday ng pagkakaisa, napakahirap man, gusto kong paniwalaan.

SALUDO AKO SA SUMULAT NITO! TAMA LAHAT NG SINABI NYA!!

Ako ay isang middle class pinoy, isang officer sa isang
malaking korporasyon at may asawa…dalawa anak.  Di na importante pangalan
ko kasi parepareho naman tayong mga middle-class….trabaho 9-5, inom konti
tapos uwi sa pamilya, laruin si baby, itutor si ate/kuya tapos tulog na,
pag wala na pera intay nalang ng sweldo.                                            
                                                                    
Sa nangyayari ngayon sa ating bansa, lahat nalang ng sector ay
maingay at naririnig, tayo lang mga middle-class, tax paying at productive
Pinoys ang di naririnig.  Subalit, buwis natin ang nagpapaikot sa bansang ito. 
Pag may mga gulo na nangyayari, tayo ang tinatamaan.  Kaya eto ang liham
ko sa lahat ng maiingay na sector na sana makagising sa inyong bulag
na pag-iisip,!

pamumuno at malaking bawas sa kurakot naman please para kahit papano maramdaman
naman namin na may napupuntahan ang binabayad naming buwis.

- di nyo pa ba nakikita na dalawang klase lang ng tao ang nakikinig
sa inyo….isa ay bayaran na mahihirap kungdi man ay tangang mga
excited na  reporter na parang naka-shabu lagi….mga praning e at
naghahallucinate.  
                                                                    
     
-  Bago man lang kayo maglunsad ng kilos laban sa administrasyon,
pumili muna kayo ng magiting at nararapat na ipapalit sa liderato ngayon. 
Hirap sa inyo paresign kayo ng paresign wala naman kayo ipapalit na
maayos.     
Advise lang galing sa isang middle-class na syang tunay na puwersa
sa likod ng lahat ng matagumpay na People Power, magpakita muna kayo ng
galing bago nyo batuhin ang administrasyon.  Wala na kaming narinig sa inyo
kundi reklamo, e wala naman kayong ginagawa kundi magreklamo….para
kayong batang lagi na lang naaagawan ng laruan…..GROW UP naman…sa isip
sa salita at sa gawa.

- Wala naman mangyayari sa mga rally nyo nakakatraffic lang, kami
pang middle-class ang napeperwisyo.  Di nyo kayang paghintayin ng 3 araw
ang mga rallyista nyo kasi kelangan nyo pakainin at swelduhan ang mga yan. 
Kung gusto nyo tagumpay na People Power kami ang isama nyo….pero pagod
na kami e, sori ha.

Alam nyo lahat tayo may problema, pati US Army may problema, 2,000
plus na patay sa kanila sa Iraq na parang walang rason naman,  pero nakita
nyo ba sila nagreklamo? Wala diba kasi professional sila na sundalo…..yan
dapat ang sundalo di nagtatanong sumusunod lang.  Kasi may mga bagay na
di kayang maintindihan ng indibidwal lamang, at ang mga nakatataas lang
ang nakakaintindi ng kabuuan, kaya ito ang panuntunan ng lahat ng
military ng lahat ng bansa.  Pero parang military natin yata ang pinaka-
mareklamo.    
Sabi nga sa Spiderman “with great power comes
great responsibility”…..kaya maging spiderman kayo lahat at protektahan
ang mamamayan. Sa totoo lang natatakot kami kapag nagrereklamo kayo,
kasi may baril kayo at tangke, kami wala.

kusa e,  may bayad ang ingay nila.  Saka wala rin naman sila

PROCLAMATION DECLARING A STATE OF NATIONAL EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, over these past months, elements in the political opposition have conspired with authoritarians of the extreme Left represented by the NDF-CPP-NPA and the extreme Right, represented by military adventurists–the historical enemies of the democratic Philippine State—who are now in tactical alliance and engaged in a concerted and systematic conspiracy, over a broad front, to bring down the duly constituted Government elected in May 2004.

WHEREAS, these conspirators have repeatedly tried to bring down the President;

WHEREAS, the claims of these elements have been recklessly magnified by certain segment of the national media;

WHEREAS, this series of actions is hurting the Philippine State–by obstructing governance including hindering the growth of the economy and sabotaging the people’s confidence in government and their faith in the future of this country;

WHEREAS, these actions are adversely affecting the economy;

WHEREAS, these activities give totalitarian forces of both the extreme Left and extreme Right the opening to intensity their avowed aims to bring down the democratic Philippine State;

WHEREAS, Article 2, Section 4 of our Constitution makes the defense and preservation of the democratic institutions and the State the primary duty of Government;

WHEREAS, the activities above-described, their consequences, ramifications and collateral effects constitute a clear and present danger to the safety and the integrity of the Philippine State and of the Filipino people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President of the Republic of the Philippines and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested upon me by Section 18, Article 7 of the Philippine Constitution which states that: “ The President…whenever it becomes necessary,…may call out (the) armed forces to prevent or suppress…rebellion…, “ and in my capacity as their Commander-in-Chief, do hereby command the Armed Forces of the Philippines, to maintain law and order throughout the Philippines, prevent or suppress all forms of lawless violence as well any act of insurrection or rebellion and to enforce obedience to all the laws and to all decrees, orders and regulations promulgated by me personally or upon my direction; and as provided in Section 17, Article 12 of the Constitution do hereby declare a State of National Emergency.

IN WITNESS HEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Sa kanilang haka-haka, ng coup plot at malawakang rally na magaganap sa edsa at ayala ave Mrs. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo proclaimed a state of national emergency.

Sa ganap na ika-tatlo ng umaga ng Feb 24, sapilitang binabalik sa Tanay resthouse ang dating pangulong erap, bakit kaya! dahil sa takot at pag-aalala na may magaganap na malaking gulo sa edsa.

Bakit kaya sa panahon kasalukuyan ay binabawalan na ang mga tao na magpahayag ng damdamin sa edsa, samantalang ito ang lugar kung saan nakakuha ng pagkakataon na makaupo sa pwesto ang mga nasa kasalukuyang gobyerno!

Natatakot ba sila sa mga tao?

Bakit hinuli sa Prof. Randy David ng walang warrant, may bisa ba kaya ang State of Emergency para sa ganitong paraan!

Lagi na lang pagtatanggol sa sarili ang ginagawa ng kasalukuyang gobyerno, tingnan nyo naman ang damdamin ng mga mahihirap!

Alalahanin nyo na ang mga tao din ang nagpwesto sa inyo sa pamamagitan ng EDSA II, dumilat naman kayo.

whY GUDANI face court martial?

Armed Forces chief of Staff Generoso Senga has ordered the relief of two officers for defying a Malacañang directive allowing military officers to testify before congressional inquiries only upon approval of Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

brig. Gen. Francisco Gudani and Lt. Col. Alex Balutan, both with the Philippine Marines, also face court martial proceedings for appearing before the Senate Committee on National Defense and Security.

Committee chair Sen. Rodolfo Biazon held the hearings in response to reports of restiveness in the military establishment especially among junior officers over allegation that President Arroyo cheated in the 2004 elections.

Senga’s letter reads: “…no approval has been granted by the President to any AFP officer to appear before the public hearing of the Senate Committee on National Defense.”

A statement issued by Senga’s office said that Gudani and Balutan knew of the Palace instructions, “and yet they disobeyed a legal order, in violation of AW 65 (Willfully Disobeying Superior Officer), hence they will be subjected to General Court Martial Proceedings and will suffer the consequences of their actions.”

Why all this thing was heppening to us?
